In 1995, the founders of Tansa Systems saw a need for advanced text tools for professional publishers. They created several different solutions designed to solve problems created by desktop publishing applications and some widely used editorial systems.
In 1999, Tansa acquired its first clients in the United States of America. In 2004, Tansa Systems expanded its operations in North America by founding a wholly-owned subsidiary, Tansa Systems, LLC.
For more than two decades Tansa has delivered enterprise text proofing and hyphenation tools to media companies, large corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies.
The company has built its reputation by enabling these groups to reduce the number of typographical spelling and style errors that appear in their printed and digital content while improving the overall efficiency of their content creation process.
Tansa’s customers vary in size from one to thousands of users. The software has been deployed in newsrooms and offices on almost every continent.
